Replacing missing teeth

Whether you are missing one tooth or many, different ways of replacing teeth suit different goals.

In brief

Depending on your treatment goals, different ways of replacing teeth exist to suit your needs. Not everyone needs to remove all their teeth and start over. Most of the time, patients who feel this way find out after visiting us that there are great treatment options that involve saving their teeth.

Your options

What may suit you

The right approach depends on how many teeth are affected and what you want to achieve.

Missing one or two teeth

If you have most of your teeth, single tooth replacement or multiple implant replacement may be the best option for you.

Many broken-down or loose teeth

If many of your teeth are broken down or very mobile, or the amount of dental work needed feels like too much to keep up with, full arch replacement may be a good option.

Dentures supported by implants

Implants can also support a denture, which is another option we can talk through with you.

Heavily broken-down teeth

They can hold infection that affects your mouth and your general health, so it is essential to have them seen by a dental professional.

What our patients say

After doing a consultation with Dr. Dempsey, I was extremely impressed by his professionalism and care. He took his time to listen to me and to understand my dental background better than any doctor has in the past. I am so grateful that I found Dr. Dempsey!

Dr. Dempsey is by far THE BEST! He is caring, thorough, and professional, and he is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that his patients are 100% satisfied with his service. I can’t recommend him enough!

Dr. Dempsey was the third periodontist to attempt grafting procedures on a couple of my teeth, but he was the first periodontist whose surgeries had successful outcomes. I would trust him with any periodontal surgery from here on out.
