common questions

Questions patients ask about gum recession

Where does the graft tissue come from?

Either from your own palate or from a donor source. Both are discussed at the consultation so you can choose.

Will the recession come back?

It can if the cause is not addressed, so part of treatment is identifying what caused it — brushing technique, grinding, or the position of the tooth.
